About VacuumPicks
Why We Built This Site
We started VacuumPicks because buying a handheld vacuum should not be this hard. Walk into any store or browse Amazon, and you will find hundreds of options with wildly different prices, specs, and claims. Which ones actually clean well? Which ones die after three months? It is nearly impossible to tell from a product listing alone.
We publish research-based vacuum buying guides. Manufacturer specifications and retailer listings do not constitute our own test results; any future hands-on test must include its method and evidence.
Use our guides to identify purchasing questions and compare documented model information. We do not establish a best vacuum for every situation, and a recommendation is not proof of a measured cleaning result.
How We Review Products
The following principles guide our editorial updates. Some legacy content remains under review; this page does not certify that every product or article has completed the same verification.
Review Analysis
We distinguish retailer feedback from independently documented tests. We do not claim a verified aggregate review count or treat listing stars as our own scores.
External Review Context
When referring to third-party reviews, we identify them as external observations. They do not establish tests performed by our editorial team.
Spec Comparison
Compare exact-model specifications with their measurement conditions, operating mode and included parts. Motor power, pressure figures and advertised runtime are not interchangeable cleaning-performance measurements.
Evidence Limits
We do not present undocumented pickup, handling or durability scores as independent test results. Any measured comparison needs a stated method, model configuration and traceable observations.
What Makes Us Different
Sources and Sample Context
A retailer rating is not our editorial score. Buyer-feedback conclusions require a stated sample, date and model context; individual reports do not establish a representative reliability or performance result.
Real Budget Coverage
Compare the current exact-model price, supplied parts, replacement costs and seller terms for your budget. Historical prices in an article do not establish the price you will pay today.
Honest Cons
Every product has weaknesses. We list them clearly because a vacuum that is perfect for one person might be wrong for another. Knowing the trade-offs helps you make a better decision.
Regular Updates
We revise selected guides as new evidence is checked. An editorial update date does not mean every listing was revalidated that day. Check the source notes and confirm current configuration, price and availability with the seller.
How We Make Money
VacuumPicks is an independent review site. We participate in the Amazon Associates Program, which means we earn a small commission when you purchase a product through our links. This comes at no extra cost to you.
Our editorial policy is to base purchasing guidance on relevant evidence rather than commission rates. An affiliate link is not a product endorsement for every task or proof of performance. We disclose unresolved model and source limitations where they are identified.
