BLACK+DECKER VF110 vs PVF110: Check Filter Fit
By VacuumPicks | Published October 23, 2026
Start with the full model on the vacuum. BLACK+DECKER lists VF110 for CHV1410L and BDH2000L, while its separate PVF110 page names BDH2000PL. The extra P in the Pivot model matters when choosing which compatibility list to read.
This guide compares manufacturer product and support references checked October 23, 2026. It helps you identify a documented match and recognize an unresolved part number before ordering. We have not installed these filters, measured particle retention or tested a suction improvement. No replacement-filter Amazon offer has been verified for this guide.
Match the complete machine model to a listed filter
The table is a source map for three named machines, not a complete BLACK+DECKER catalog. A model explicitly appearing on a manufacturer filter page is useful compatibility evidence. A similar product name, shared voltage or the dustbuster brand alone does not make an unlisted substitution a documented match.
| Machine label | Official reference | What to keep separate |
|---|---|---|
| CHV1410L | VF110 compatibility list names CHV1410L | The machine page shows VF110FC; support names N566064. Preserve those distinct references |
| BDH2000L | VF110 compatibility list; model support also gives part 90558113 | Do not drop or add the P when reading an offer title |
| BDH2000PL | PVF110 compatibility list names this Pivot model | A VF110 reference for BDH2000L does not document the PL model |
Both filter product pages describe one replacement filter in their own included-content fields. That describes those manufacturer products; it does not establish the contents of a retailer's multi-pack or third-party bundle. Count the filters actually specified in the selected offer before comparing cost.
For the machines' tools and buying context, see our CHV1410L review and BDH2000PL Pivot review. A filter fit decision does not establish which vacuum cleans better.
Keep a source trail when part identifiers differ
CHV1410L illustrates why a single copied number can be incomplete. Its current machine specifications display VF110FC, the VF110 product page explicitly lists CHV1410L, and CHV1410L filter support names N566064. The support page carries a September 27, 2022 update date; our October 23 check is the date we reread it, not a new manufacturer revision.
These references establish what each source says. They do not prove that every retail package using VF110, VF110FC or N566064 contains an identical part. Where a seller uses a different code, send support the exact vacuum label, the source reference and the proposed item number. Ask whether that particular replacement is approved for the unit; leave the cross-reference unresolved until answered.
Do not use a photograph alone to resolve the difference. Pleats, color and an apparently matching diameter do not establish the seating interface or required filter assembly. Keep an original part's markings in the record, but do not assume that an unmarked part already installed by a previous owner was correct.
Make a six-field filter order record
Copy this short record into a note before opening competing offers. An unknown field is a question to resolve, not a reason to fill the gap with a similar model's specification.
- Machine: Complete model from the label, including every letter and suffix; add the type or regional identifier when present.
- Manufacturer source: Exact filter or support URL, the named compatible model and the date checked.
- Proposed replacement: Brand, exact part code and the seller's item identifier. Separate the manufacturer's part from an aftermarket compatibility claim.
- Contents: Number of filters and whether the offer includes the required housing or other assembly parts. Do not count a brush or accessory as an extra filter.
- Terms and total: Current delivered cost and return conditions for the selected pack. A lower cost per item is useful only after fit and usable quantity are established.
- Open question: Any unconfirmed identifier, assembly component or care instruction, and the support answer needed before ordering.
Keep order numbers and contact details private when sharing a model or part photograph. The useful evidence is the identifier and documented fit, not a public copy of your purchase account.
Two examples: a listed match and a stop point
Hypothetical BDH2000L owner: The label says BDH2000L and the proposed manufacturer item is VF110. Both the compatibility page and model support connect those identifiers. The next checks are the exact offer's identity, included quantity, delivered cost and return terms. This is a documented model match, not evidence of current stock or a guaranteed performance improvement.
Hypothetical BDH2000PL owner: A low-priced pack is advertised only for BDH2000L. The owner should not remove the P from their model to make the offer fit. Read the PVF110 manufacturer reference for BDH2000PL and ask for an exact match before buying. This source comparison does not prove that every unlisted filter is physically impossible to fit; it means the proposed substitution lacks the documented match needed for this purchase.
If a whole-machine purchase is also being considered, first decide whether the current vacuum's tools still suit the job. Our BLACK+DECKER handheld model guide addresses those format differences. Replacing a filter does not add a powered upholstery tool or change the vacuum's reach.
Treat fit, cleaning and replacement as separate decisions
A compatible filter still needs its own care instructions. The VF110 and PVF110 pages describe washable products, but that label is not permission to wash the motor, copy another filter's soap instructions or reinstall a damp assembly. Follow the exact machine and installed filter instructions before removal, cleaning and correct reassembly.
This guide does not set a universal replacement interval or diagnose weak pickup. Record visible condition and follow the permitted maintenance steps; unresolved damage or operation questions belong with model support. Read our handheld vacuum cleaning guide for examples of why filter, housing and other-part instructions differ.
Replacement-filter FAQ
Which filter does BLACK+DECKER list for BDH2000L?
Its VF110 product compatibility list names BDH2000L, and model-specific support identifies VF110 with the additional part reference 90558113. Copy the complete model label before comparing a replacement offer.
Does the same listing cover BDH2000PL?
The manufacturer names BDH2000PL on its separate PVF110 compatibility page. BDH2000L and BDH2000PL are different model identifiers. The sources here do not document VF110 and PVF110 as interchangeable.
Why does CHV1410L have several filter references?
The VF110 filter page explicitly lists CHV1410L, the CHV1410L product specifications show VF110FC, and model-specific support names N566064. Record each source and ask support to resolve a proposed alternative; this guide does not establish that all packages using these identifiers are identical.
Does washable mean I can use another filter's care instructions?
No. Match the installed filter and machine to their own current instructions. A compatibility match does not transfer soap approval, drying time or service intervals from another model, and this guide has not tested filtration or suction recovery.
